Procurement Specialist
What You’ll Do At Elekta
As a Procurement Specialist, you will join the Procurement Operations team within Elekta Business Services and provide procurement support across multiple regions, with an initial focus on Asia Pacific, Europe, and TIMEA. You will play an important role in supporting local Business Units and Global Category Managers with sourcing activities, supplier management, procurement compliance, and continuous process improvement.
Working within a collaborative global environment, you will help ensure procurement activities are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in line with Elekta policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Manage the supplier approval process in accordance with Elekta policies and procedures.
Support sourcing activities and supplier onboarding for business stakeholders across multiple regions.
Prepare spend analyses and procurement reports to support business decision-making.
Ensure procurement processes are compliant with Elekta policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
Gather, maintain, and update supplier documentation and records.
Monitor supplier performance, including cost, quality, delivery, and contract compliance.
Measure and report procurement savings in line with global processes and standards.
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other procurement documentation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Global Category Managers to support procurement initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and recommend practical enhancements.
What You’ll Bring
Previous experience in procurement, preferably within indirect procurement categories.
Good understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and sourcing activities.
Experience working with procurement systems; knowledge of Coupa is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare and interpret spend analyses and performance data.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong PowerPoint capabilities.
Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across different functions and regions.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Confident and professional communication style with a proactive and collaborative approach.
Continuous improvement mindset and attention to detail.
