- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 1+ years of Security Experience
- 21+ years of age
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or other stakeholders while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
