We are looking for an organised and commercially aware IT Project Manager to join a growing technology consultancy delivering multiple networking and infrastructure projects for enterprise customers.

This is a varied delivery role managing a number of concurrent customer workstreams, ensuring projects move from initial order through to successful delivery.

You will work closely with customers, technical consultants and internal stakeholders to keep projects progressing, manage priorities and ensure agreed actions, timelines and deliverables remain on track.

The role would suit someone with experience coordinating IT infrastructure, networking, managed services or technology projects. You do not need to be deeply technical, but you should be comfortable working with technical teams and have a basic understanding of areas such as networks, firewalls, cloud and infrastructure.

This is a home based role with travel to customer sites when required (approximately once or twice a month).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple customer projects and workstreams simultaneously
• Take ownership of projects from initial purchase order through to delivery
• Build and maintain project plans, actions, milestones and dependencies
• Liaise directly with customers to maintain momentum and resolve blockers
• Coordinate technical resources and ensure activity is scheduled effectively
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues and outstanding actions
• Provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders
• Manage changing priorities across a portfolio of live projects
• Ensure project documentation and project information is kept up to date
• Support delivery teams by making sure requirements, timelines and responsibilities are clearly understood
• Help improve project delivery processes as the business continues to grow

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in an IT Project Manager, Project Coordinator or Technical Project Manager role
• Experience delivering or coordinating multiple projects at the same time
• Strong customer and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Ability to take ownership and proactively drive projects forward
• Experience working with technical or engineering teams
• Good understanding of general IT infrastructure

Experience across any of the following would be particularly useful:

• Networking
• Firewalls / network security
• LAN / WAN
• Cloud infrastructure
• Managed IT services
• Network migrations
• Infrastructure upgrades
• Cyber security
• Data centre or connectivity projects

You do not need to be a network engineer, but you should be technically comfortable enough to understand customer requirements and communicate effectively with technical specialists.
