CACI is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Project Manager to join our team supporting a mission-critical Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contract. In this role, you will lead rapid-response, short-fuse engineering and IT infrastructure initiatives—ranging from hardware and software installations to enterprise tool upgrades across 24/7/365 production environments.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership, familiarity with the Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) framework, and hands-on experience guiding matrixed teams through project initiation, requirements gathering, deployment, and transition to Operations and Maintenance (O&M).

Responsibilities:
As an IT Project Manager, you will hold end-to-end accountability for project success, driving timelines, budget scope, stakeholder engagement, and technical quality. Responsibilities include:
•            All areas of Project Management from initiation through closeout, ensuring the successful execution of the project in support of government customer’s mission, goals and objectives.
•            Responsible for the management, scheduling, and coordination of projects activities, and staff assignments.
•            Provides leadership to a cross-functional team, managing team resource assignments, projected task completion dates, prioritizing activities based on customer requirements and SLAs.
•            Document and track the project lifecycle in ServiceNow PPM.
•            Produce and provide rough orders of magnitude and estimates for projects requiring surge resources.
•            Oversee individual IT projects from identification of requirements, analysis and design, development, end-user testing, deployment, and production support.
•            Document and manage all issues and risks, developing and maintaining a risk register and mitigation plan.
•            Facilitate all necessary project meetings, to include requirements gathering, project kick-off, technical exchange meetings, design review, project status meeting, project closeout meetings and all ad-hoc and post-mortem meetings necessary.
•            Work across the program to manage the transition of projects from engineering to O&M.
•            Provide appropriate reporting and drive towards on time delivery by working directly with stakeholders.
•            Provide recommendations for process development and improvement.
•            Contribute to documentation in the Knowledge Base, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions, and job aids.

Qualifications:

Required:
•            Ability to obtain TS/SCI DoD Security Clearance (active TS preferred)
•            Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferred
•            B.A./B.S. or equivalent + 8 years of relevant experience
•            Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
•            Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (predominantly Excel, PowerPoint and Visio).
•            Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Confluence

Desired:
•            Previous DHS or DoD experience
•            Relevant IT, Service Management, and Project Management certifications are highly desired:
•            Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
•            Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile certifications (PMI-ACP)
•            COMPTIA A+, or Network+, or Security+
•            ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)
•            Other IT technical certifications
•            ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,400 - $198,200
