Description
Position Overview
Seeking a flexible, experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary float pool assignment in Coos Bay, OR. The Float RN will provide high-quality care across acute care units, including Medical Care, Post-Surgical, and Intermediate Care (PCU).
Key Responsibilities
- Float seamlessly between the Medical Care Unit, Post-Surgical Unit, and Intermediate Care Unit (PCU).
- Conduct patient assessments, deliver individualized clinical care, and document accurately in the EMR.
- Rapidly respond to patient emergencies and changes in clinical status.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary hospital care teams.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience in an acute care hospital setting (within the last 5 years) [Required]
- Licensure: Active Oregon RN License OR willingness to obtain [Required]
- Certifications: AHA BLS & ACLS certifications (must be obtained prior to start) [Required]
- Flexibility: Willingness to float across Med-Surg, Post-Surgical, and PCU units [Required]
