Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM
Starting Pay is $21.04 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training
As a Security Officer in Everett, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. - Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and families while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
- Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with directions and communicating concerns to appropriate school personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports, and communicate relevant information with school staff, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
