A veterinary practice is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to provide clinical leadership while delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership while maintaining a high standard of veterinary care.

Perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans.

Mentor and support veterinarians, technicians, and support staff through coaching, training, and professional development.

Promote a positive, collaborative workplace culture focused on teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.

Establish and uphold medical protocols, quality standards, and best practices.

Collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize workflows, operational performance, and client satisfaction.

Maintain accurate and timely medical records while ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and developing veterinary team members.

Maintain an active clinical caseload while balancing leadership responsibilities.
Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.

Previous clinical experience required.

Leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience preferred.

Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
