## Description
PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES:
- To assist the Vice President in defining strategic objectives for lip and fragrance category. Responsible for helping to create 3-year action plans and successfully executing on defined objectives to grow assigned categories aligning with brand strategies and global objectives
- To manage all aspects of product/program development from concept to go-to-market execution, and consistently deliver successful products/programs on time and in budget.
- To manage, train and develop the marketing expertise of team direct report.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Leads program conception and development for assigned categories partnering closely with all necessary cross-functional teams.
- * Develops lip strategy in partnership with VP and SVP, driving hero franchises and ensuring market share gain
- Maintains fragrance portfolio, supporting existing franchises as needed
- Oversees and leads preparation of all necessary deliverables (Concept Briefs, Program Briefs, Creative Briefs); Manages development and 360 support program to ensure programs are in-culture, on trend and on brand
- Inspire and drive programs forward with cross-functional teams, ensuring on time, on brand and on budget deliverables
- Responsible for preparing and presenting deliverables to brand president and regional leaders, gaining alignment and approval at key milestones
- Responsible for keeping a pulse on trends, insights, lip category performance, product opportunities and all category related information.
- * Monitors the performance of Clinique versus the competition to identify product need gaps and opportunities; develops and executes action plans to improve brand performance when needed.
- Is the expert and key point person for performance of assigned segments (shipments, sell-thru, cost of goods, sku count, pricing and new product forecasts) as well as the competition.
- Maintain in-the-know of lip and broader makeup trends, techniques and perceptions
- Manage Creative development and execution, ensuring messaging and execution are both on brand and will cut through the clutter
- Liaises regularly with Regional marketing teams to ensure programs meet Region/Affiliate Market needs.
- * Responsible for providing all Regions and affiliates with timely information on programs.
- Acts as key, day-to-day contact for Regions to ensure brand strategies and objectives are being met for product launches/programs.
- Responsible for leading all Planning Guides, Flashes and Launch Guides.
- Participates in consumer research for assigned categories as needed including writing briefs, concepts and analyzing research findings.
- Manages and is responsible for the performance of Direct Report, including on-time deliverables and accuracy of projects.

## Qualifications
- Must possess strong leadership, analytical, creative, and oral and written communication skills.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Must possess proactive strategic and critical thinking skills and the ability to take initiative, anticipate next steps and offer recommendations.
- Proven balance of results and program driver
- Must be able to manage and develop direct report(s).
- Should be a self-starter, accountable and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
- Must be team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships with members of cross-functional teams.
- Must be highly detail-oriented with unprompted follow-through.
- Trend-spotter and in tune with evolving consumer and market shifts. Forward-thinking.
- Should demonstrate a passion for the cosmetics industry.
- Must have very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Pay Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $124,200.00 to $214,450.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program as well as participation in the share incentive plan. In addition,
