We are looking for an Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team on a 1-year contract. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the Haleon Performance System (HAPS) principles and tools at our site to deliver the business strategy and improve business performance in areas such as safety, quality, service, and cost. You will use a data-driven approach to drive continuous improvement and play a key role in project management and productivity initiatives that align with our site goals. This role reports to the Site Continuous Improvement & Communication Lead.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Collect data, implement sustainable measuring processes, and report trends of key performance indicators (including OEE % and Yield %) to assess opportunities and track success.
Liaise with site stakeholders to embed effective visual performance management boards.
Lead and facilitate cross-functional improvement projects and Lean Focused Improvement tools (Kaizen, SMED, 5S, AM, Centerlining, etc.).
Build capabilities of the hourly workforce through LSW, SOPs, and Lean tools training; coach and mentor teams and individuals on best practices for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Lead site implementation efforts of Digital 4.0 tools in support of the Haleon Performance System (HAPS).
Lead cross-functional weekly/monthly efficiency and waste gap plan meetings.
Conduct daily GEMBA walks to identify safety, quality, efficiency, and waste opportunities.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and OSHA training requirements.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills to enable effective and influential internal communication, from hourly to Functional Director level.
Proficiency in IT skills, including Power BI and OEE % data collection systems.
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
