Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Patrol in Georgetown, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This role calls for professionalism, clear communication, and integrity while working collaboratively in a caring, fast-paced environment.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Respond to incidents, critical situations, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and follow applicable laws, regulations, site policies, and Allied Universal procedures for armed personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
