Facilitate the flow of materials to and from various departments/suppliers. Work with vendors to secure the appropriate goods and coordinate delivery. Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with vendors to coordinate the timing and means of delivery
- Find solutions to budget limitations, vendor errors, and other problems as they arise
- Work with various departments to determine the amount and type of goods required
- Keep an inventory of goods on hand
- Track orders from placement through delivery
- Ensure that the appropriate goods are transferred to each department in a timely manner
- Tracks and expedites orders to ensure delivery schedules are met and part shortages are resolved.
- Advises Sales and Production Departments of delivery status risks. Communicates accurate information to production in order to provide accurate and timely updates.
- Works with inventory control to address and resolve purchase order receipt issues
- Evaluate data from SAP using Materials Management concepts to improve processes
- Works in a professional and cooperative manner with other departments such as production, quality, engineering, sourcing and sales to promote a successful team environment.
- Manages disturbances and can prioritize them.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years related experience in manufacturing, supply chain management or equivalent operational functions, with at least 1 year of experience with customer/vendors relations.

- Proficient knowledge and usage of computers, MS Office Applications (MS Excel including spreadsheets, graphs, functions and advanced applications.)
- Regular exposure to general supply chain management functions within a manufacturing environment

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $76,300.00 and $114,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
