Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol in FOREST, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and assist with security-related needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to site leadership and/or appropriate responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; verify credentials and maintain required logs.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access-control concerns, and potential hazards in accordance with established reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred experience with access control and badges.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
