ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Contract Project Manager to lead the systems integration work required to bring newly acquired company’s financial, master data, and supply chain operations onto our platforms following the acquisition. This role will manage a multi-phase migration spanning NetSuite ERP consolidation, EDI transition, inventory/3PL relocation, and integration across our core enterprise systems (WMS, Shopify, Celigo, Orderful). This is a hands-on, execution-focused role requiring close coordination with Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and external implementation partners.

PROJECT SCOPE: 

Phase 1 (Financials): Migrate newly acquired company’s NetSuite instance (chart of accounts, financial data, subsidiaries/entities as applicable) into our NetSuite instance

Subsequent Phases:

• Master data transformation and migration (items, vendors, customers, pricing)
• Supply chain systems integration
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) integration
• Shopify integration
• Celigo integration platform configuration
• EDI migration and trading partner onboarding via Orderful
• Potential StockIQ implementation/integration for demand planning and inventory optimization
• Physical inventory transition from newly acquired company’s 3PL to our retail 3PL warehouse and distribution center

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the end-to-end project plan across all phases, sequencing dependencies between financial, data, and operational workstreams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance/Accounting, Supply Chain, Operations, and external implementation vendors (NetSuite partner, Celigo, Orderful, 3PL providers)
• Build and maintain a detailed timeline, RAID log, and phase-gate criteria for go/no-go decisions at each migration stage
• Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and sprint retrospectives.
• Coordinate the technical work of internal engineers/admins and external consultants on NetSuite configuration, Celigo integration flows, and Orderful EDI mapping
• Manage the physical inventory transition plan alongside Supply Chain — coordinating cutover dates, stock reconciliation, and minimizing disruption to order fulfillment
• Track and communicate project budget, vendor contracts/SOWs, and spend against plan
• Identify risks and blockers early (data quality issues, system compatibility gaps, trading partner delays) and drive resolution or escalate with recommended solutions
• Facilitate regular cross-functional status meetings and produce reporting/status artifacts for leadership
• Manage change communication to affected teams (Finance, Ops, CS) as systems and processes shift
• Ensure data integrity and reconciliation at each migration milestone (financial close accuracy, inventory counts, order flow continuity)
• Document processes and handoff materials for internal teams to support post-migration

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of project management experience leading ERP/financial systems migrations, ideally NetSuite-to-NetSuite consolidations
• Direct experience with EDI implementations/migrations (Orderful, SPS Commerce, or similar)
• Experience with iPaaS/integration platforms (Celigo preferred)
• Experience coordinating WMS integrations and/or 3PL transitions, including physical inventory moves
• Familiarity with Shopify in a DTC/retail context
• Experience with inventory planning tools (StockIQ or similar demand planning/replenishment systems) a plus
• Strong track record managing multi-phase, cross-functional technical projects with real financial/operational stakes
• Comfortable working with both technical teams (developers, integration engineers) and business stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain leadership)
• Excellent risk identification, escalation, and stakeholder communication skills
• Experience managing external vendor/consultant relationships and SOWs
• Proficiency with project management tools (Smartsheet, Atlassian/Jira, or similar)
• M&A integration experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred

POSITION TYPE:
This is a full-time, 1099 contractor position with an estimated duration of 6 months, with potential for extension based on phase progression

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is remote

SALARY:
$85-$100/hr
