Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers, tenants, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a retail plaza location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking lots, storefronts, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor activity throughout the property, report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations, and document observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
