What are we looking for?

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Production Head to join our Pharmacy Team with a salary up to £82,000.

This is a full-time, permanent role. Our Pharmacy Department operate 24/7, so although this role is expected to be predominantly Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-5, there will be a requirement to flex outside of these core hours for oversight of processes.

As Production Head, you will lead one of the UK's most innovative hospital pharmacy manufacturing services. Cleveland Clinic London is among the few hospitals in the country to operate a fully integrated, closed-loop unit-dose medication system, combining advanced automation, robotic dispensing, individual barcode identification, and electronic prescribing to deliver the highest standards of medication safety. This is a unique opportunity to shape and develop a cutting-edge production service at the forefront of pharmacy practice in the UK.

What will your duties include?

• Act as a named Head of Production (MS, MIA(IMP)), ensuring compliance with MHRA and Home Office regulations.

• Provide strategic leadership for manufacturing services, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.

• Lead the delivery of a high-quality unit dose production service.

• Lead Production responsibilities within the Quality Management System (QMS).

• Hold delegated responsibility for production budgets and resources.

What we need from you?

• Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Pharmaceutical Science, Technology, or Quality Assurance (Essential)

• Significant experience in GMP-Compliant Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Essential)

• Named Head of Production experience on an MHRA licence (Essential)

• Quality Improvement or training qualification (Essential)

• GPhC Registration as Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist (Desirable)

• Accredited Product Approver / releasing officer status (Desirable)
