As part of the new ASML Business Services Germany organization, we are creating a new Vendor Operations team that supports the purchase and payment processes for a broad range of non-product-related goods and services. From office supplies and professional services to large-scale production equipment, the team plays a key role in ensuring smooth business operations. This position offers the opportunity to unite colleagues from Procurement and Finance into one high-performing team and help establish a new organization during a period of significant transformation.

  • ensure reliable and compliant execution of Accounts Payable and operational purchasing activities within the Purchase-to-Pay process
  • foster collaboration across internal and external stakeholders in a broad international environment
  • monitor operational performance, prioritize workloads, and ensure service delivery against agreed targets
  • identify improvement opportunities and drive sustainable process optimization, standardization, and automation initiatives
  • act as a key contributor to organizational change and transformation activities while helping establish the new operating model

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, or a related field
  • Experience in Procurement operations, Accounts Payable, Finance operations or a comparable transactional business environment
  • Experience leading teams, coordinating people, or demonstrating clear leadership responsibility in a professional setting
  • Experience working with ERP systems and digital business applications in a structured operational environment
  • Experience in an international or shared services environment
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken

Skills

Working in a newly established organization requires strong leadership, adaptability, and the ability to guide teams through change. To thrive in this role, the following skills are important:

  • Ability to build trust, engagement, and collaboration across teams with different backgrounds and expertise
  • Structured and solution-oriented approach when balancing stakeholder needs, operational priorities, and deadlines
  • Open mindset, learning agility, and resilience in changing business environments
  • Clear and effective communication across functions, stakeholders, and organizational levels while fostering accountability and team development
  • Initiative to drive continuous improvement through constructive challenge, logical thinking, and sound decision-making
