The Trust Officer promotes relationship retention and growth by building client and beneficiary relationships, identifying opportunities to deepen existing relationships, supporting referrals and new business, participating in account acceptance and transition discussions, and delivering high-quality service throughout the client lifecycle. The role also requires accurate documentation, timely system updates, data integrity, adherence to established controls and procedures, and escalate appropriately.
Core Responsibilities

• Complex Matters: Identify complex or sensitive issues and seek appropriate guidance when necessary. Work with the appropriate partners and clearly document the issue, actions taken, and outcome.
• Risk and Compliance: Watch for possible risks or errors, report concerns promptly and keep clear and accurate records.
• Client Retention and Growth: Provide reliable service that helps maintain client relationships. Listen for additional client needs, share possible opportunities with the appropriate team members, and support referrals and new business activities.
• Teamwork and Coordination: Work with team members and other partners to meet client needs. Share information, and complete assigned tasks.
• Records and System Updates: Keep account records accurate, complete, and up to date. Enter required information and complete reviews, requests, and correspondence promptly.
• Team and Business Support: Take part in team meetings, share information about Wealth Trust Services, and work with partners across Wealth Management. Represent the team professionally in everyday interactions and at events.
