Position Overview
- Provide professional nursing care and health support to students in a school setting on an as-needed, per diem basis.
- Monitor and respond to students’ routine and acute healthcare needs, including pediatric and diabetes-related care.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered and maintain accurate, confidential health records.
- Respond to health emergencies and collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Completion of AHCA Level 2 background screening clearance required
- Experience with pediatric nursing and pediatric diabetes management, including blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration
