Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating adaptation, translation, and tropicalization projects for creative assets across multiple markets. This role ensures that digital, print, and audiovisual pieces are culturally and linguistically appropriate for each country while maintaining alignment with brand guidelines, delivery timelines, and established budgets.
They work cross-functionally with creative teams, production, account management, and language vendors, ensuring organized, efficient execution that meets quality standards in regional and global environments.
Responsibilities
Coordinate translation, transcreation, and cultural adaptation projects for different countries and markets.
Oversee the localization of digital, print, and audiovisual assets (including subtitles, dubbing, and voice-over).
Manage timelines, priorities, and basic budget tracking.
Coordinate internal teams (creative, design, production, account) and external vendors (translators, recording studios, voice talent).
Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, local regulations, and usage rights.
Monitor deliverables and perform linguistic and operational quality control.
Identify risks and escalate issues in a timely manner.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of localization processes and workflows.
Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in localization project management, translation, or regional production.
Experience working with multiple markets or international teams (desirable).
Practical knowledge of translation, transcreation, and content adaptation workflows.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Jira, Monday.com, or similar.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of localization platforms such as Smartling, Phrase, memoQ, Trados, or similar.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets for tracking and reporting).
Focus on quality, timely delivery, and results.
Experience in a creative agency, production company, or advertising environment (desirable).
