New Hope Fertility Center provides the full range of IVF services, including fertility diagnosis, PGD genetic testing, IVF treatments, embryo banking, donor and surrogate services and egg freezing, as well as reproductive repair surgeries and treatments for both male and female infertility.

What You'll Do

● Perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures per established methods; ● Perform routine quality control and quality assurance procedures established and adopted by the laboratory; ● Ensure that all benches and other work areas are clean at the start and end of each work day; ● Ensure that all reagents and lab supplies are available at the start of each work day; ● Ensure that all necessary lab equipment is in working order at the start of the day; ● Make certain that Andrology patients fill out requisitions forms properly and accurately; ● Instruct andrology patients in the proper collection of the specimen; ● Log in and accession specimen properly; ● Prepare specimen and label tubes and slides for assay; ● Perform semen analysis and other tests with minimal supervision of the lab director or the lab supervisor; ● Fill out worksheets and write results into the essay worksheets; ● Submit results to the lab director for approval of the assay run; ● Do inventory of supplies and request for purchases of necessary supplies; ● Fill out log sheets of controls of the essay run, quality control log, etc. ● Generate lab test reports to be sent to referring physicians; ● Upon the direction of the laboratory director, the lab technologist must be able to perform quality control of final lab test reports before there are transmitted to doctors.

What You Bring

● Preferred experience in: Andrology, Endocrinology with Tosoh or Horiba Analyzers. CDC ART submission.● Must be thoroughly trained, through formal training or on-the-job, in the following laboratory techniques in relation to human fertility. However, we are willing to train in house. ● Routine semen analysis; ● Human sperm preparation techniques for assisted reproductive therapies; ● Advanced laboratory tests for human sperm functions and fertilizing capacity; ● Human sperm Cryopreservation ● Assist patient with specimen collection and accessioning; ● Quality control and quality assurance procedures. ● Must be able to conduct technical work with minimum supervision from lab supervisor or lab director and exercise independent judgement and responsibility in carrying out laboratory work.
