Description
- £12.71 per hour PAYE
- Monday to Friday.
- 08:00 start on Mondays.
- 07:30 starts Tuesday to Friday.
- 45 hours per week.
- Finish times are approximately 17:30, depending on the completion of deliveries.
- No weekend working.
- No bank holiday working.
- Completing an average of approximately 45 delivery stops per shift.
- Delivering to a mixture of commercial and residential locations.
- Approximately 80% commercial and 20% residential deliveries.
- Completing both one-man and two-man deliveries.
- Delivering a wide variety of products, including coils, radiators, pipes and other goods.
- Heavy lifting and manual handling will be required as part of the role.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time.
- Providing excellent customer service at all delivery locations.
- Completing all required vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
- Full training will be provided.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Previous van driving or multi-drop delivery experience is desirable.
- Comfortable completing heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a two-person delivery team.
- Reliable, professional and committed approach to work.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a busy delivery schedule effectively.
