Support Carpenter Needed!
Jamaica Cottage Shop Inc. is a premier Vermont-based manufacturer specializing in fine post and beam buildings like tool sheds, cottages, tiny homes & wood sheds. We are seeking a Support Carpenter to join our production team.
Responsibilities
- Follow plans, layouts and verbal instructions
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet production timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
- Prior carpentry experience
- Comfortable working both with a team or independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meet physical demands while adhering to all safety protocols
- Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs without issue or concern
- Reliability, attention to detail and a positive attitude
