Description
Staff Site Reliability Engineer - $300k (base + super + bonus), Sydney - 2 Days WFH
Have you ever read an old engineering blog or case study and thought, "I would have loved to have been part of that"?
There are teams in Australia working on how AI will reshape platform operations for the next decade.
Actively building Agentic SRE, applying AI to incident detection, diagnosis, and remediation at scale.
Not just pilots. But in production.
And in five years, they will be case studies that other engineers read about.
Do you want to be the case study or the reader?
If it's the latter, we're recruiting for a staff-level SRE for a global financial institution you might be interested in.
Large-scale distributed systems with business-critical reliability challenges, significant executive investment in AI, emerging Agentic SRE practices, meaningful strategic engineering influence, and the stability and resources of a leading financial institution.
There are very few opportunities in the Australian market right now where you'd get this combination of scale, investment, and timing.
This is a genuine Staff-level position, not a rebadged Senior.
