Information Technology; Infrastructure Manager

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop reliable metrics for hardware, software and storage while ensuring strategic capacity planning.
• Direct and support the maintenance and operation of client, server and network infrastructures.
• Collaborates with departmental representatives to plan/coordinate joint patient and management objectives.
• Plans, directs, and administers the activities of system administrators, and other technical staff and services of the Information Systems.
• Prepares and manages department budget to ensure expenses are within organizational goals.
• Coordinates departmental projects and instructs staff in the development and implementation of new capabilities.
• Ensures departmental compliance with organizational, departmental specific policies/procedures, safety and health standards, and state/federal regulations and accrediting agencies.
• Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values.
• Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

• Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years’ management experience in an IT environment
• Cisco, Microsoft, VMWare and Security certificates highly desirable

Required License/Certifications/Registrations

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Education and Experience

• 5+ years HIT related experience in an acute care health system environment.

Preferred License/Certifications/Registrations

• None

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Extensive information systems operational knowledge including regulations and requirements of accrediting agencies.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.

• Light Work: Occasionally exerting up to 25 lbs - frequently exerting up to 10 lbs. 11-25% of the day may be standing or walking.
