Trade Finance Specialist (Bank Guarantees & Letters of Credit)

Join our Treasury team at Solar Turbines' Regional Center in Prague and become part of a global organization supporting business operations across Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.
In this role, you'll manage trade finance products such as bank guarantees and letters of credit, working closely with international banks, customers, project teams, legal experts, and finance professionals worldwide.
This is a unique opportunity to build expertise in a specialized area of finance that is highly valued across multinational companies and financial institutions.
What will you do?
As a Trade Finance Specialist, you will:
- Manage bank guarantees and letters of credit throughout their entire lifecycle, from contract review and issuance through amendments and final release.
- Review and negotiate trade finance wording with internal stakeholders, customers, and banking partners.
- Coordinate directly with international banks and financial institutions around the world.
- Support business teams by providing guidance on trade finance requirements, risks, and best practices.
- Ensure issued instruments comply with contractual obligations and international banking standards.
- Monitor bank fees and maintain accurate reporting and documentation.
- Build and maintain relationships with banking partners and internal stakeholders.
- Deliver occasional training and knowledge-sharing sessions for colleagues.
- Support Treasury projects, KYC processes, and banking documentation initiatives.

What are we looking for?
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, Legal studies, or a related field.
- 1-3+ years of experience in finance, treasury, banking, accounting, or a similar area. (Candidates with stronger experience are also welcome.)
- Strong English communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
- An analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.
Nice to have:
- Experience with bank guarantees, standby letters of credit, or commercial letters of credit.
- Additional language skills (Spanish, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Russian).
- Experience working in an international environment.
