ACCIONA, through its Culture business unit, is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to collaborate and ensure the correct functioning of the Finance Department
Job Description
Mission:
To collaborate and ensure the correct functioning of the department, in accordance with the guidelines set by the manager, with the objective of improving both decision-making processes and the execution of financial functions.
Functions:
Analytical review of financial statements and oversight of project financial performance.
Management and control of fixed assets.
Review, control, and coordination of accounts payable and accounts receivable with the relevant departments.
Budget preparation and variance analysis.
Tax calculation, filing, and compliance.
Preparation of management reports and financial analysis for Management.
Preparation of annual financial statements and coordination with external auditors.
Required Skills and Competencies
Minimum 10 years of experience.
Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Strong experience in project or construction-based finance environments.
Solid knowledge of accounting standards, compliance, and audit processes. Draw up financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement) in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP).
Manage and ensure the accuracy of the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Supervise all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements (Tax and Legal).
Demonstrated capability in budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, and financial controls. Analyze and report on variances between actual financial results and budgeted/forecasted targets, identifying causes and recommending corrective actions.
Internal Controls & Risk Management: Design, implement, and maintain robust internal financial controls and policies to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Experience partnering with commercial/contracts teams.
Strong systems capability (SAP/ERP and advanced Excel; Power BI desirable).
Confident communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
