Key Responsibilities
- Unit Operations: Oversee daily functions and 24-hour care for a designated Long-Term Care unit.
- Staff Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support a team of RNs, LPNs, and Nursing Assistants.
- Care Coordination: Manage resident and physician referrals effectively.
- Medical Communication: Partner with physicians to update and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for physicians, residents, and families.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current RN or LPN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
- Certification: Active CPR certification required.
- Experience: Previous supervisory and Long-Term Care experience preferred.
- Compliance: Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
