The Building Maintenance Unit is responsible to manage all aspects of building maintenance with an aim to provide a well-maintained, safe and sustainable environment for all users. We are looking for an experienced IT professional to support the department’s growth. The appointee will be responsible for the following:
- Support Smart Campus project initiatives, working with CMO teams.
- Lead digital architecture, system governance and integration oversight for CMO’s IT systems, including BIM, GIS, IoT and Maximo platforms.
- Lead IT procurement and tendering exercises, coordinate with vendors on system upgrade project and maintenance
- Supervise the IT Officer(s) and oversee day-to-day IT support for the department.
- Act as the department’s Cybersecurity Coordinator (CSC), liaising with ITSO on security compliance.
- Oversee software installation and licensing compliance across the department.
- Perform any responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
Applicants should have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines with at least 5 years of relevant experience in IT system administration, IT operations and team supervision. Proficiency in Windows/Linux systems, Active Directory and cloud platforms and IT security principles. Experience in project support and system maintenance within the real estate industry is an advantage. Proven project management and maintenance experience in real estate industry is an advantage. Experience in an academic or educational institution is highly desirable. Skills in AutoCAD, REVIT, and BIM are preferred. Experience with facility management systems and IoT technologies is an advantage. (Duration: 2-year contract)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
