As a Talent Acquisition Director, you will operate as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to senior executives, translating business objectives into talent strategies that elevate organizational capability and strengthen competitive positioning. This is a senior level individual contributor role with significant influence, but no direct reports.
Employee-Centric
Champion a best-in-class candidate experience, overseeing the transition from candidate to employee to ensure every recruiting touchpoint reflects the company's brand and values
Build and maintain a strong virtual bench of qualified talent, anticipating current and future hiring needs across the business units you support
Partner with business leaders to identify emerging capability gaps and shape talent strategies that support their teams' growth and success
Data & Technology Led
Own recruiting metrics and reporting, using data on pipeline health, search progress, diversity, and channel effectiveness to guide decisions and communicate progress to stakeholders
Leverage the applicant tracking system (Workday or similar) and other recruiting tools to measure, track, and report on the status and success of talent acquisition initiatives
Interpret workforce and hiring data to inform recruiting strategy and ensure alignment with business outcomes and growth forecasts
Tinuiti Way (Functional Excellence)
Set the standard for functional excellence in talent acquisition, building comprehensive strategies that integrate sourcing, pipelining, employer branding, and onboarding into a single, cohesive approach
Develop, automate, and continuously improve recruiting processes and procedures, identifying opportunities to simplify and standardize how the organization hires
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including interview process mapping and gap analysis, to close workflow gaps across talent acquisition processes
Assist in the development of company and employee brand messaging, ensuring consistency across every recruiting touchpoint
Owner Mindset
Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior executives, consistently delivering strategic value that earns lasting credibility beyond any single search or requisition
Drive enterprise-wide talent initiatives that elevate organizational capability and strengthen the company's position in a competitive talent market
Maintain an expert-level understanding of the business units you support
Proactively identify emerging trends in the talent market and develop innovative, scalable recruiting solutions that position the organization for future growth
Professional & Technical Qualifications
7-10 years of experience within a talent acquisition or recruiting function, with a track record of operating as a strategic advisor to senior leaders rather than a purely execution-focused recruiter
Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments (agency, consulting, tech, or professional services preferred)
Demonstrated ability to design and scale recruiting processes, systems, and strategy in a growing organization
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
Analytical mindset with strong command of recruiting metrics and the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decisions
Experience with applicant tracking systems (Workday or similar) and a toolkit for measuring and reporting on recruiting performance
Based in or able to work hybrid from New York, NY
The hiring salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 plus a discretionary performance bonus. Hiring salaries are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, parity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
