Job Description

As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, verify credentials, and maintain a professional, visible presence. You will support security-related operations through clear communication, exceptional customer service, and accurate documentation. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at the front desk of an aerospace and defense office location while following site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests to appropriate contacts or meeting areas.
• Answer and route incoming calls, receive deliveries, and communicate relevant information to site contacts in a professional and timely manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate front desk records and report unusual activity, access concerns, and other security-related matters to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
