As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while reporting security-related concerns and contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors at a cultural institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, exhibit areas, public spaces, employee areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and support a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
