We are looking for an energetic and target-oriented Business Development Executive to generate leads and onboard event organizers, event management companies, venues, entertainment providers, artists, promoters, and corporate clients onto our event discovery and booking platform.
The platform will enable customers to discover and book movies, concerts, live events, comedy shows, sports events, exhibitions, workshops, festivals, parties, entertainment experiences, and other activities, similar to platforms such as BookMyShow.
. Lead Generation
- Identify and generate new business leads through:
- Social media
- Event directories
- Industry networks
- Cold calling
- Email campaigns
- References and partnerships
- Local market research
- Build a database of event organizers, promoters, venues, artists, entertainment companies, and potential customers.
- Research upcoming events and identify organizers who can list their events on the platform.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads.
2. Event Organizer Acquisition
- Approach event organizers and explain the benefits of listing their events on the platform.
- Onboard event organizers, promoters, venues, and entertainment partners.
- Understand their event requirements, ticketing needs, audience, pricing, and promotional expectations.
- Coordinate with the internal team to complete partner onboarding.
- Ensure events are successfully published and available for customer booking.
3. Sales & Business Development
- Convert qualified leads into business opportunities.
- Conduct online/offline meetings and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate commercial terms, commissions, promotional packages, and partnership agreements.
- Develop long-term relationships with event organizers and business partners.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly lead-generation and revenue targets.
4. Market Development
- Identify new event categories and entertainment opportunities.
- Track upcoming concerts, festivals, exhibitions, sports events, comedy shows, workshops, and other activities.
- Identify high-demand locations and potential venues.
- Develop local market intelligence and competitor insights.
- Identify opportunities for exclusive events and strategic partnerships.
5. Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with event organizers and partners.
- Regularly communicate with partners regarding upcoming events and promotions.
- Understand partner feedback and coordinate with product/operations teams for improvements.
- Encourage existing partners to list additional events on the platform.
6. CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate lead and prospect information in CRM/Excel.
- Track:

- Provide daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
