Position Title: Converting Supervisor
The Opportunity:
This is a high-impact opportunity for a driven and technically strong leader to step into a pivotal role within a corrugated sheet plant and directly influence operational performance at scale. With the facility producing hundreds of millions of square feet annually and currently operating below its full potential, this role offers a rare chance to create immediate, measurable improvements in uptime, efficiency, and team effectiveness.
The Converting Supervisor will serve as a catalyst for change, bringing structure, accountability, and technical expertise to a production environment that is rich with opportunity for optimization. The organization is seeking a leader who can go beyond maintaining daily operations and instead elevate the plant’s capabilities by improving troubleshooting, reducing downtime, and strengthening frontline leadership.
Success in this role means transforming reactive operations into a proactive, performance-driven culture. You will implement KPIs, standardize processes, and develop team members to improve decision-making and execution on the plant floor. This individual will not only solve immediate operational challenges but also help build the foundation for scalable growth, contributing to increased throughput, improved production reliability, and stronger cross-functional alignment.
Importantly, this role is designed with upward mobility in mind. A high-performing supervisor will have the opportunity to grow into broader operational leadership, including potential advancement into Plant Manager responsibilities as the organization continues to evolve and expand.
The Company:
This organization is a multi-faceted corrugated packaging provider with diverse capabilities spanning sheet plant operations, point-of-purchase displays, and fulfillment/3PL services. Operating within a large-scale manufacturing and distribution facility, the company produces everything from standard brown boxes to complex, high-graphic packaging solutions and supports customers across multiple industries, including automotive and e-commerce.
What distinguishes the organization is its commitment to growth, modernization, and continuous improvement. Leadership has been actively investing in systems, processes, and talent to elevate the business. The company is focused on building a more disciplined, data-driven operation while maintaining a strong emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction.
With steady growth in production volume and a clear recognition of untapped capacity within the plant, this environment offers a platform where operational improvements directly translate into significant business impact. The company’s willingness to invest in talent and process evolution creates an ideal setting for ambitious professionals looking to make a meaningful difference.
The Boss:
This role reports to senior operational leadership that is deeply engaged in the day-to-day realities of the business and committed to driving meaningful change. Leadership operates with a hands-on and transparent style, prioritizing accountability, capability development, and continuous improvement across the organization.
They value individuals who challenge the status quo, bring new ideas forward, and take ownership of results. The ideal candidate will work closely with leaders who are focused on strengthening the middle of the organization, building leadership competency, improving communication, and aligning execution with strategic goals.
This is an environment where leaders are expected to think strategically while remaining grounded in operational execution, offering the opportunity to influence both immediate performance and long-term direction.
