Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will spend your day investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. Your role involves continuous monitoring, diagnosing problems, and ensuring the smooth operation of software applications to support business continuity. You will collaborate with different teams to maintain system reliability and contribute to improving service quality. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. - Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference. - Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues before they impact users. - Assist in the deployment and configuration of software updates and patches. - Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions based on operational experience. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Cloud Infrastructure. - Strong understanding of cloud service models, including infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, and software as a service. - Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance standards. - Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline cloud operations. - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based applications and services. - Knowledge of network architecture and virtualization technologies relevant to cloud environments. - AWS and Azure administration skills - Advance - Windows/Linux Administration skills - Intermediate - Basic Network Administration skills - Intermediate Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure. - This position is based at our Cebu office.
