Job Summary
Under direct supervision, routinely receives, stores, and distributes supplies, materials, and equipment. This a Contingent I, 35 hour per week seasonal position. Primary work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30am - 2:00pm during the academic year from late August to late December, and late January to late May.
Authority and Accountability
Reports to the Production Manager, Timothy Martin. This position has no budgetary responsibility or authority.
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED Work experience: One year related work experience Certification/Licensure: ServSafe food handler certificate required within first three months of employment
- Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: Working knowledge of the procedures and practices of issuing and storing supplies, materials, and equipment. Ability to perform basic mathematics; to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to follow directions; to operate warehouse material handling equipment; to operate computers and other standard office equipment; to perform extensive standing, walking, and climbing; to lift, transport and stock assigned supplies and materials; to wear and work in personal protective equipment. Working in irritating environments and adverse temperature conditions
- Physical demands: Walking, stooping, reaching, kneeling, standing, repetitive motion, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling. Lifting up to 50 lbs.
OTHER:
Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
