We’re a four-doctor, AAHA-accredited practice committed to providing unparalleled patient care, and we’re ready to add a Veterinary Technician / Client Care Representative to our dedicated team. This unique dual-role position is perfect for someone who enjoys both hands-on veterinary medicine and creating an exceptional experience for clients and their pets.

From Malamutes and Maine Coons to parakeets and pocket pets, we see it all! Our patients have access to services including laser therapy, rehabilitation, and nutritional and behavioral consultations. You’ll also have opportunities to expand your skills in areas like exotic animal medicine, acupuncture, and complementary medicine.

What You’ll Do

Patient Care & Veterinary Support

• Support veterinarians and fellow team members in providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
• Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
• Assist with examinations, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures within your training and experience
• Obtain patient histories and vital information for the medical team
• Assist with diagnostic sample collection and laboratory procedures as appropriate to your skill level
• Prepare patients, equipment, and treatment areas for veterinary care
• Provide attentive nursing and patient-care support
• Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records
• Keep clinical areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready for patient care
• Continue developing your technical skills through mentorship and hands-on learning

Client Care & Hospital Support

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the client experience
• Answer incoming calls and assist clients with questions and requests
• Schedule appointments and coordinate client communications
• Support client and patient check-in and checkout
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
• Help connect clients with the appropriate members of the medical team
• Maintain accurate client and patient information
• Support an organized and efficient front desk and daily hospital workflow
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and client care team members
• Contribute to a positive experience for every client, patient, and teammate

What You’ll Bring

• At least 6 months of experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant
• A passion for providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care
• Comfort working directly with both patients and clients
• Strong animal handling and patient-care skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A compassionate and professional approach to client service
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt between clinical and client-care responsibilities throughout the day
