Social Media Coordinator assists with content creation, marketing, analytics, live-event coverage, talent relations and advertising for social media and helps build online communities by nurturing existing audiences and developing new ones. This position also plays a key role as the alternate for digital channels (web, app, email, ads) and digital content (e.g. producer, editor and content manager) roles. Their primary goal is to further the mission of Air1, K-LOVE, Goodsource and other brands by helping to create, produce and approve branded and campaign content for digital communities. 

 

 

This is a onsite position located in Franklin, Tennessee.

 

Here's some of what you will be doing:

• Suggest or write social media copy, schedule posts and assist with creation of photos, videos, live video and other content. 
• Monitor, analyze and report on analytics to inform future content and social media campaigns.
• Improve and grow social media accounts by assisting social media managers.
• Aid and occasionally lead the content creation process for graphics, videos or text-only posts.
• Assist with the planning, management and execution of social media campaigns, ensuring close alignment with Air1, K-LOVE, Goodsource and other brands. 
• Monitor the health of all ministry social media accounts and maintain their cybersecurity.
• Help administer social media management tools such as Planable and Rival IQ.
• Serve as backup, as needed, for web, email and other digital platforms.
• Support project management using tools such as Wrike and Google Drive.
• Recommend strategies and assist with placing paid social media campaigns.
• Monitor Air1, K-LOVE, Goodsource and other brand websites, ministry partners and artist pages to find relevant content to be shared on social media channels.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining flexibility, creativity and control over work projects.

Here's some experience we are seeking: 

• Bachelor’s degree in digital media, marketing, communications or combination of education, training and relevant experience required.
• Minimum three years experience in social media management, digital marketing or content creation.
• Experience working with and managing brand/company social media profiles (e.g., Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok).
• Possess hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Solid understanding of creating photo and video content with Photoshop, video editing software (e.g. Premiere Pro) and social media apps.
• Deep understanding of analytics and what drives impressions, engagements and conversions.
• Creative, resourceful and possess initiative with a solid sense of social media and marketing communication.
• Keen sense of judgment regarding organization, trends, presentation and creating social media content.
• Solid understanding of copywriting (AP Style), formatting and distributing content for the web and social media. Must be able to provide social media and copywriting samples. 
• Self-managed and work independently.
• Have a passion for social media and the content our audiences care about.
• Strong attention to detail, comfortable with multi-tasking and solid organization skills.
• Live-event coverage experience a plus.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, work independently and as a member of a team.
• General experience with other digital platforms (web, app, email, etc.) a plus.
• A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality. Need to be seen as a team player.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships.
