Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Operations Lead located in Austin, Texas.
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Operations Lead role involves providing leadership and direction to production teams while ensuring materials, resources, and workflow remain aligned to keep production lines moving efficiently. This role partners closely with Engineering and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues, remove obstacles, and support operational goals. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills who can provide clear direction, build relationships across teams, and drive results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What a typical day looks like:
Keep production lines supplied with materials and help ensure operations continue running efficiently.
Communicate daily priorities to team members and coordinate activities to meet production goals.
Partner with Engineering and other departments to address production issues, material concerns, and process improvements.
Provide clear written and verbal communication, including shift pass downs, downtime updates, and team direction.
Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and take proactive action to maintain productivity and support continuous improvement.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction and build effective working relationships.
Experience leading or coordinating teams in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or operations environment.
Self-motivated individual who can take initiative, prioritize work, and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and other support departments.
Experience in identifying and resolving production, material, and workflow issues.
Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed instructions and procedures.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
