The Pricing and Promotion Analyst will position Signet at the forefront of best-in-class Pricing and Promotion analytics, competitive positioning, and discount spend optimization. This role involves investigating and analyzing pricing and promotion strategies, competitive price positioning, and the impact of pricing across two to three Signet brands. The analyst will conduct market landscape analyses to identify opportunities for competitive price adjustments. They will collaborate with up to three Signet brands, functional teams, and organizational processes to recommend changes in price and promotions/discounts. Additionally, they will evaluate and quantify the trade-offs between protecting margins and maximizing the sell-through of markdown products.

1. Develop and automate pricing analysis across the product lifecycle by brand/channel/product category/market.  Source and analyze data pertaining to initial market price, promotions/discounts, and clearance.  Aggregate findings and provide executive level visualizations to drive incremental sales and margin while maintaining the Brand’s Value Proposition.

2. Build and utilize internal pricing and promotion models to drive value through optimization of discount spend.  Stay ahead of pricing trends by leveraging competitor data and commodity data.  Ensure Signet is compliant yet optimizing time on sale.

3. Work cross-functionally to ensure pricing strategies incorporate consumer shopping behaviors, customer segmentation, product category strategies and other key business drivers. Advise pricing and promotion opportunities to the Consumer Data & Loyalty teams to drive targeted marketing, which maximizes top-line revenues and yields high net profits.

4. Be a change agent and thought leader by promoting, educating and facilitating the concept of profitable revenue growth across Signet.

5. Actively participate in key initiatives as the lead technical resource within the Pricing and Promotions team to provide subject matter expertise on data and functionality requirements.
