JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Vice President, Venue Solutions is responsible for the strategic growth and expansion of RockForce's venue portfolio throughout North America. This executive will lead the development of long-term partnerships with arenas, stadiums, convention centers, amphitheaters, fairgrounds, performing arts centers, and venue management organizations while serving as a trusted advisor to venue ownership groups, operators, and executive leadership teams.
As a senior member of the Business Development team, the SVP, Venue Solutions will identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities that position RockForce as the premier partner for event labor, rigging, production support, workforce management, and venue operations solutions. The role requires a highly connected industry leader with a deep understanding of venue operations, strategic partnership development, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas
Strategic Venue Development
- Develop and execute RockForce's national venue growth strategy while partnering with local operations.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new venue partnerships across sports, entertainment, convention, and special event markets.
- Expand RockForce's footprint with venue operators, management companies, ownership groups, municipalities, and public authorities.
- Develop opportunities for exclusive, preferred-provider, and multi-year service agreements.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of venue partnership opportunities.
- Lead executive-level business development efforts from prospecting through contract execution.
- Collaborate with company leadership to develop customized service solutions that meet client objectives.
- Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, account expansion, and strategic partnership development.
Executive Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with venue executives, facility directors, operations leaders, procurement teams, and ownership groups.
- Serve as a senior ambassador for RockForce throughout the live events industry.
- Represent RockForce at select industry conferences, trade associations, networking events, and client functions.
- Leverage industry relationships to uncover emerging opportunities and strengthen the company's market position.
Venue Solutions Leadership
- Partner with venue stakeholders to identify operational challenges and workforce needs.
- Align RockForce capabilities with client requirements, including event labor, rigging services, production support, and workforce management solutions.
- Identify industry trends and market opportunities that support RockForce's long-term growth objectives.
- Provide strategic insight into venue operations, staffing models, and service delivery best practices.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with operations and executive leadership teams to ensure successful implementation of new partnerships.
- Support corporate growth initiatives and long-range strategic planning efforts.
- Provide regular market intelligence, competitive analysis, and business development forecasting.
- Assist in developing market expansion strategies across existing and emerging venue sectors.
Qualifications
Industry Expertise
- Minimum of 20 years of progressive leadership experience within the live events, sports and entertainment, venue management, facility operations, hospitality, or related industries.
- Deep understanding of the arena, stadium, convention center, amphitheater, performing arts center, fairgrounds, and special events marketplace.
- Extensive knowledge of venue ownership structures, operating models, management agreements, procurement processes, and workforce challenges.
- Established credibility and reputation within the live entertainment, sports, venue management, and event services industries.
- Comprehensive understanding of the operational, financial, and commercial factors that influence venue decision-making.
- Extensive network of executive relationships across venue operators, ownership groups, venue management companies, sports organizations, promoters, producers, and industry associations.
- Respected industry presence with the ability to open doors, influence decision-makers, and accelerate strategic growth initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to establish trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives, venue owners, operators, and key industry stakeholders.
- Strong visibility within industry organizations, conferences, trade groups, and professional networks.

- Proven executive leadership experience with responsibility for business growth, strategic planning, revenue generation, and organizational development.

- Demonstrated success developing executive-level relationships that drive long-term business opportunities and sustainable revenue growth.
- Strong contract negotiation experience with the ability to structure mutually beneficial partnerships and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Experience managing large-scale business development initiatives with multi-million-dollar revenue impact.
- Strong business and financial acumen with experience evaluating market opportunities, strategic investments, and growth initiatives.
- Ability to analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities to develop actionable growth strategies.
- Experience forecasting revenue opportunities, evaluating partnership performance, and driving accountability against business objectives.
- Proven ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.
