Description
What You Will Do
- Ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and support of IT systems and infrastructure across the assigned geographical region.
- Provide on‑site technical assistance, including hardware troubleshooting, software installation, configuration, and issue resolution.
- Support end‑users by addressing daily IT requests, incidents, and service needs.
- Participate in system upgrades, deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain documentation for IT assets, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with regional and global IT teams to align with Johnson Controls’ technology standards and security requirements.
How You Will Do It
- Deliver hands‑on support at the Istanbul office and customer/partner locations when required.
- Apply structured IT incident management and problem‑solving methodologies to ensure timely resolution.
- Use company‑approved tools and platforms to monitor system performance, track tickets, and manage configurations.
- Follow cybersecurity and compliance guidelines to safeguard systems and data.
- Communicate clearly with users, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
- Work independently while escalating critical issues to senior engineers or global support teams when necessary.
What We Look For
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT operations, technical support, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server fundamentals, network fundamentals, and end‑user device management.
- Hands‑on experience with hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally.
- Strong communication skills and customer‑focused mindset.
- Ability to work on‑site and travel within the designated region when required.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
