Our client is a PCI DSS Level 1 payment-orchestration platform looking to hire a Senior IT Operations Engineer based at their office in Dubai. This is an onsite role and takes full ownership of endpoint strategy and identity lifecycle.
Operating in a PCI DSS v4.1-regulated fintech environment, this role drives automation, zero-touch device deployment, and compliance enforcement across a global workforce.
The role carries a clear leadership trajectory: candidates demonstrating technical ownership and operational maturity will be evaluated for IT Operations team lead responsibilities within the first year.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full device lifecycle: procurement, provisioning, compliance enforcement, and decommissioning across macOS and Windows fleets
- Administer and optimise the Kandji MDM platform including custom profiles, automated deployments, and compliance policies
- Design and manage identity lifecycle workflows integrating Google Workspace, SCIM provisioning, and SSO/SAML configurations
- Build and maintain automated provisioning/deprovisioning workflows using APIs, scripting, and integration platforms
- Lead infrastructure projects end-to-end: office build-outs, network deployments, access control systems, and cloud service integrations
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or endpoint engineering
- Proven hands-on experience with at least one enterprise MDM solution (Kandji, Jamf Pro, or Microsoft Intune)
- Experience with identity management and SSO: Google Workspace Admin, Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, SAML/SCIM integrations
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) for IT workflow development
- Currently based in Dubai, UAE.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of device lifecycle management: zero-touch deployment, .mobileconfig profiles, and compliance enforcement
- Solid networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, and enterprise-grade Wi-Fi troubleshooting
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) for IT infrastructure services
- Strong Atlassian tooling knowledge: Jira, Confluence, and JSM administration and workflow design
- Excellent documentation habits, process-driven mindset, and strong cross-team communication skills
Nice-to-Have / Preferred:
- Experience deploying SCIM bridges (e.g. 1Password SCIM on AWS ECS/Fargate); familiarity with BioStar 2 access control
- Certifications: ACMA/ACME (Jamf), Microsoft MD-102, AWS SysOps, or ITIL; background in fintech or regulated environments
Benefits:
- Competitive salary package aligned with experience and market standards.
- Flexi start between 08:00 and 10:00, giving you control over how you structure your morning.
- Medical Insurance starting from day 1.
- Access to training resources and development opportunities that support your professional growth.
- Well-stocked office with snacks, drinks, and refreshments available daily.
- A multinational organisation that promotes a strong, collaborative culture
- Regular team-building events and company activities that strengthen collaboration across teams.
Salary range: up to AED 278,000 per year (approx. AED 23,200/month).
