Manulife is looking for this role in the AML Compliance team of the Legal & Compliance of the Company to provide a unique opportunity to the successful candidate to provide support relating to Japan AML/ATF Compliance, external and internal AML/ATF audits and any ad-hoc projects.
Position Responsibilities:
ensuring policies and procedures within assigned businesses /products are followed
Responsible for submitting FATCA/CRS Annual Reporting and additional reports
Responsible to ensure MLJ is in compliance with Act of Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds and FSA Guideline on AML/ATF.
Responsible for managing AML related systems project.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in financial institutions, preferably in the insurance industry or banking industry.
- Knowledge and experience in FSA and LIAJ AML/ATF regulations and requirements.
- Strong Japanese communication skills, verbal and written, required.
- Independent, analytical thinker, hard-working and solution/business orientated mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
ACAMS holder will be an advantage.
English communication skills will also be appreciated.
Experience in managing IT development/enhancement projects.
