IT Infrastructure Solution Engineer - System Administrator

We’re looking for an IT Infrastructure Solution Engineer/ System Administrator to join us at Telia.

I’m Audrius Sabalys, I am leading Tech Core Service Delivery team and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on hands-on IT infrastructure deliveries with solution design responsibilities.

What you’ll do:

This is a self-driven, delivery-focused role requiring strong collaboration across agile teams.

• Administer and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance and security.

• Participate in infrastructure deliveries: installation, configuration, expansion and decommissioning.

• Implement infrastructure solutions based on business and technical requirements while following organizational standards and best practices.

• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and ensure service continuity.

• Collaborate closely with architects, application teams, delivery teams and stakeholders also to ensure smooth delivery, projects and system enhancements.

• Perform infrastructure expansion, migrations and system upgrades to support business growth and operational needs.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures by our infrastructure standard building blocks.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of IT infrastructure services, SBB and WoW.

This role is a great match if you enjoy both big-picture thinking and hands-on engineering and feel comfortable guiding others while staying technically deep.

• Proven experience and solid background in IT infrastructure (cloud, virtualization, datacenters, storage, OS – deliveries and LCM’s)

• Strong knowledge of Linux or Windows administration and IP networking

• Hands-on experience with VMware and Kubernetes

• Understanding of SRE principles: networks, firewalls, monitoring and backup solutions

• Ability to work across complex stakeholder landscapes

• Excellent in spoken and written English

• Really big advantages in IaC (Terraform), container orchestration, understanding CI/CD pipelines

Monthly salary range for this position 3500 - 5500 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
