Job Summary:
The incumbent will take responsibility for a portfolio of countries within the region, as well as working with various business partners. This role will cover the full spectrum of order-to-cash and will include arranging warehouse exports and direct shipments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide service and support to internal & external customers via end to end order management, warehouse export management, attending to stock enquiries and shipment scheduling
- Liaise with supplier on the schedule for end to end order
- Gatekeeper of pricing elements on agreements in place for end to end order
- Perform export console shipment planning, work with warehouse timely accurate cargo stuffing and vessel booking via 3rd party logistics providers
- Upkeep the responsibility in prepare and provide full set of shipping documents;
- Well versed in L/C documentation, import / export documentation, preparing bank documents for DA & DP terms.
- Verify freight invoices and supplier invoices;
- Manage customer complaints on billing/shipment/stock issues;
- To participate in ad hoc projects and supply chain initiatives where tasked.
Job Requirements:
Education: Degree / Diploma related to Logistics and Supply Chain Management would be an advantage
Experience: Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Power Point & SAP
- At least 3-4 years of relevant working experience in an MNC or trading operations;
- Sound knowledge of shipping/logistics documentations and international trade terms;
- Knowledge/background in inventory management a plus;
- Proficient in MS office, especially Excel;
- Knowledge of SAP R3 will definitely be an advantage;
- Fluent in English (oral and written) with the ability to converse in Mandarin would be an advantage in order to liaise with Chinese speaking clients and associates;
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Possess the CAN-DO attitude is a must;
- Keen interest to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment;
- Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams in a multinational environment.
