Responsibilities
- Serve as a key strategic partner to clients and internal teams, helping guide brand and communications strategy
- Build a deep understanding of clients' business objectives, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities
- Develop meaningful customer insights through qualitative and quantitative research, market analysis, and strategic exploration
- Support the development of brand positioning, messaging platforms, customer journeys, and engagement strategies
- Collaborate closely with creative, account, medical, analytics, media, and experience teams to ensure strategic alignment across initiatives
- Translate research and insights into clear, actionable strategic recommendations
- Develop creative briefs, communication frameworks, strategic presentations, and workshop materials
- Facilitate internal brainstorming sessions and strategic workshops that inspire innovative thinking
- Provide thought leadership on healthcare market trends, customer behavior, and emerging opportunities
- Contribute to new business opportunities, pitches, and organic growth initiatives
- Mentor and support junior strategists while helping elevate critical thinking across teams
Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of experience in brand strategy, communications planning, marketing strategy, or a related rigor within a healthcare advertising, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environment
- Experience supporting HCP and/or patient-focused marketing initiatives
- Strong understanding of healthcare markets, customer engagement, and brand development
- Ability to synthesize complex information and distill it into clear, compelling insights and recommendations
- Experience developing brand positioning, messaging frameworks, communication strategies, and creative briefs
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to connect data, research, and business objectives
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to confidently engage with clients and build trusted relationships
- Collaborative approach with a passion for partnering across multiple rigors
- Strong storyteller who can inspire teams and clients through critical thinking
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical brands is preferred; oncology experience is a plus
