Park Maintenance Worker - County Grounds Service Center

$26.19 - $36.37

WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

This opportunity is for the County Grounds Service Center; this entails possession of a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License from the State of WI within 12 months of hire date. On call for snow/ice control, 24/7 with earlier starts and weekends as needed. Work area is primarily the Government Center and Expo Center grounds. Core workdays/hours are Mondays thru Fridays, 5 am - 1 pm. Days and hours can vary based on weather and workload. Comp time can be available at times along with overtime pending budget. Starting hourly rate is $26.19.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements
1.    High school graduation or GED equivalent.
2.    Previous experience in park maintenance work is desirable.
3.    The following work assignments will require the possession of a valid Class ‘A’ Commercial Driver's License from the State of Wisconsin within twelve (12) months of date of hire.
a.    County Grounds Service Center
b.    Natural Land Management
