Division Controller

Supervises Others: Yes

FUNCTION

Responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial reporting activities of the division. This role will ensure accuracy, compliance and timely information for decision making.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

· Oversee all divisional accounting operations, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, debt, and general ledger.

· Manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).

· Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.

· Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities to improve performance and profitability.

· Assists with external financial audits, reviews or compilations, as applicable.

· Oversee tax-related processes, including coordination of sales/use, and other tax filings with internal staff.

· Provide cash flow and working capital reporting to support operational and strategic needs.

· Supervise, develop, and mentor the accounting/finance team, establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.

· Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.

Requirements

Minimal Job Experience:

BA in Accounting, Finance or other related field of study, Relevant experience 5–7 years, Supervisory experience 3+ years
