Global Policy & Process Manager

This is a role within the Castrol organisation and the successful candidate will become part of the Castrol ring-fence. If you are part of the ring-fence, it is encouraged that your employment will move with Castrol to new ownership.
About the Role
As Castrol transitions to a standalone company, we are establishing independent P&C operations, advisory and technology capabilities to support the future organisation.
The Global Policy & Process Manager will play a key role in crafting, standardising and optimising HR Services, workflows and governance frameworks, ensuring flawless service delivery, strong governance and effective use of policies and processes across the employee lifecycle.
The role will support Day 1 readiness, TSA transition activities and the ongoing evolution of Castrol’s global P&C policy and process management.
Key Accountabilities
Support the build and implementation of Castrol's global P&C Operations & Advisory model, ensuring consistent and efficient service delivery across regions.
Lead the development and governance of P&C operational processes, policies, controls and service standards across the employee lifecycle.
Partner with HR Services, P&C Business Partners, Centres of Expertise, Data Privacy and Digital teams to streamline processes and improve the employee experience.
Support the transition from bp-supported services and systems to standalone Castrol operating models, processes and technologies.
Drive continuous improvement across P&C operations, finding opportunities to simplify processes, improve service levels and increase automation.
Partner with HR technology teams to optimise workflows, employee self-service capabilities, case management solutions and reporting tools.
Develop and maintain a consistent approach to process documentation, knowledge articles, governance frameworks and operational controls to ensure operation compliance with international labour laws and data privacy rules.
Lead organizational change, communications and training activities related to new services, processes and technology solutions.
Support audit, compliance and risk management activities across P&C operations.
Experience & Qualifications
Qualified in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
Experience within HR Operations, Shared Services, HR Advisory, HR Technology or P&C Transformation.
Solid understanding of HR service delivery, employee lifecycle processes and operating models.
Experience improving processes, implementing governance frameworks and driving operational perfection.
Experience working with HR systems such as Workday or similar HCM platforms.
Strong collaborator management and multi-functional collaboration skills.
Strong analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities.
Superb communication and change management skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting a separation, carve-out, merger or large-scale transformation programme.
Experience standing up new HR operations, shared services or service delivery models.
Knowledge of HR technology, case management and employee self-service platforms.
Experience working within a global organisation and managing multi-country processes.
