The Alumni Employment Data Representative serves as a point of contact for SNHU alumni and is responsible for conducting phone and email outreach to obtain employment-related information. This position plays an important role in supporting the university's employment outcomes reporting efforts through accurate data collection and documentation. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to maintain professionalism while engaging diverse populations. This individual must be comfortable using technology and managing sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound phone and email outreach to alumni to collect employment and career-related data.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with alumni while building rapport and encouraging participation.
• Handle a high volume of outbound contacts and follow-up communications.
• Accurately document employment information and outreach outcomes in internal reporting tools and databases.
• Utilize university technology platforms, including outbound phone systems, Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, and other web-based applications.
• Maintain accurate records with a strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
• Manage confidential and sensitive alumni information in accordance with university policies.
• Prioritize and organize outreach activities to meet established productivity and quality goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic data discrepancies through appropriate follow-up and research.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current SNHU student in good academic standing.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with alumni and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently with limited supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, email, and web-based technologies.
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize call center technology, data tracking tools, and SharePoint.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Work study included as part of financial aid package

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service, call center, administrative, or data entry experience.
• Experience making outbound phone calls in a professional environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint and Excel.
• Experience working with confidential information and maintaining accurate records.
• Experience engaging diverse populations through phone or email communication.

Working Conditions

• Primarily remote or office-based computer and phone work.
• Position requires frequent outbound phone outreach and prolonged use of a computer.
• Flexible schedule based on departmental needs and student availability.
• May require occasional evening hours to maximize alumni engagement.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
